Providing a unique sense of community and unconditional acceptance, information about disability and how to deal with it in contrast to the isolation, rejection, and lack of knowledge about disability frequently experienced outside the group.

Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment

For societies to thrive, women and girls must have access to education, healthcare, and technology. They must have equal rights and equal opportunities as breadwinners, peace-builders and leaders.

Self Development and Skills Training

We offer training to teach the skills people with disabilities need to be engaged in paid work. We also provide opportunities to develop personal interests, both in community and onsite by encouraging hobbies, like gardening and volunteering in the community. Other classes focus on life skills training, such as: social skills, self-help and daily living skills, self-advocacy, health and wellness, safety skills and problem solving. Assistive technology and adaptive equipment is used to help those in our day programs for people with disabilities participate as fully as possible in the activities that interest them most.

Inclusive Education

Education serves as a driver for development and the elimination of extreme poverty. Education is transformational for individuals and societies--it creates pathways to better health, economic growth, a sustainable environment, and peaceful, democratic societies.

Microfinance & Employment

In the Philippines, disabled people don't have SSI like in the first world countries, they only have 5 to 20% discount cards from the Government for basic goods. So WOWDO is looking for ways to help employ women with disabilities (wwd) by linking the individual's skills with employer/s, or provide them with small loan to start their own livelihood or creating a business that will generate employment.
